Making Water From Air

A Condensed Solution for Water Self-Reliance

Sky Water is patented, proven technology which has been

in use for over a decade with thousands of units sold worldwide,

serving local communities and emergency relief efforts.

David Hertz, founder of Skysource and SEA (Studio of Environmental Architecture) has integrated Skysource’s air to water technology into his studio in Venice Beach, CA to produce up to 150 gallons of water every day. The water is offered free to the public, and it's used by Community Healing Gardens to water their garden boxes in Venice.

What is the best gift Miranda Kerr has ever received from her husband, Snapchat's Evan Spiegel? Skywater 300! It produces enough water for her entire house, including showers, drinking water, irrigation, and a waterfall that cascades into the supermodel's koi pond.

About Skywater

What is Skywater?

Skywater machines are atmospheric water generators that condense moisture in the atmosphere and filters it, making fresh drinking water. Each Skywater model produces enough fresh water from air for a household use or emergency relief efforts, and it does it more efficiently than any other method of moisture extraction or filtration. Skywater machines are ranging from Skywater 30 (up to 30 gallons of water each day) to Skywater 300 (up to 300 gallons of water a day).

How DOEs IT WORK?

Skywater machines use a patented Adiabatic Distillation Process, where water vapor is reduced to liquid without a gain or loss of heat. Refrigeration techniques maintain a dew point within a condensation chamber, which will maximize water production from the existing atmospheric condition. The higher the humidity and temperature, the more water can be produced. After condensation, the water is filtered and treated with ozone to enhance its taste and prevent potentially hazardous micro-organisms from forming and the water can be used or stored for future use.

Our machines require a lower capital cost and are the most energy efficient and productive systems on market today. Skywater machines are much cheaper and more efficient than water desalination, and not dependent on rainfall. We are providing a solution for water self-reliance, that can be adapted to almost any climate, and can be powered by alternate energy sources such as solar panels or by biofuel gassifiers.

As the “build green” revolution takes hold worldwide, new developers recognize the need to find ways to make homes and offices more efficient.  Skywater is the latest in water technology. Develop homes with the option of this modern kitchen appliance in the form of a compact unit for family use, and supply your development projects or emergency relief efforts with the Skywater 300 for a total “off the grid” water system capable of delivering 300 gallons a day.
